***CENTRAL NEW JERSEY'S PUNK ROCK PIONEERS SINCE 1994***

Compared by some to Social Distortion, Misfits, Cheap Trick, Ramones, Green Day, Face To Face, and Credence....... Sharkys Machine was formed in 1994 and is based in Long Branch, NJ. Between 1994-2008 they were a fixture on the Jersey Shore Punk/Rock Scene headlining shows at The Stone Pony, Club Bene, Birch Hill, Brighton Bar, Fastlane, and many other venues! Between 2008-2020, Sharkys was mostly involved with festivals, benefits, and induction ceremonies. They were recognized in 2019 for their 25 years of contribution to New Jersey music and their band name was honored onto the Wall of Fame at the Brighton Bar alongside all of NJ's best! Their first album, "Content To Be A Jerk", was released in 1994. This was followed up by their second and most successful album, "This Way", in 1997. In 2000 they released their third album "Drunks Like Us". Over the following 20 years they recorded many tracks that were never finished nor released until now! This is why they bring to you their fourth and latest album, "Ye Olde No. 7". Released 1/10/21, this album sees many different periods of influence over the last 20 years. The sarcasm will be most evident. To quote one magazine, “Sharkys Machine is all about booze, broads, and hot rods. Punk rock should be fun and Sharkys delivers!”
